The Gloomy Sky that Spoke..

I'm writing this at my break time at work amidst my cluttered desk. Sometimes, it appears as if a tornado just ravaged my work desk with the loads of unattended requests, transactions, quotes, Orders, Cards scattered all over, etc. I rather think it has less to do with having too much to do and more to do with organization, anyway. I know. You know.

A Tale of Two Great Men

Prophet T.O Obadare Growing up in Akure, the Ondo State capital was fun and the memories will always be held dear. Also, growing up was without the perks of the present day. For instance, there were few colour TVs back then, fewer computers, no cable TV, no GSM to mention a few of the priviledges we take for granted in the present day. Back then, we were members of the St. Stephens's Anglican church where mum and dad were very active members and after service every sunday evening at 4pm, one voice and face that was a weekly constant on the State TV (OSRC) was that of prophet T.O Obadare. He was very much part of my growing-up. Even though he was visually challenged, yet his personality and spirituality was so strong that thousands would travel from far and near just to listen and watch him speak and preach during his monthly “ Koseunti ” crusades.

What Made Albert Einstein So Special?

After a sumptuous meal of..you don't want to know the details..last night, I had to sit back to allow the mountain be turned to valley in my tummy before turning in for the night with my 'souljas'. In their usual fashion, anytime the inverter (no thanks to PHCN) is on, the boys would start looking around for the remote control. Next thing I heard was.."mummy, please I want to watch cartoon, change it to cartoon". It was actually one of my lucky days when my three year old was in the right frame of mind to be courteous. Usually it's "mummy, change it to Cartoon Network" Lucky chaps..in my days, cartoons? That's for another day. Well, this time, they had their way and we settled down to watch Little Einsteins on Disney Junior.
