Everyone wants a taste / feel of the 'free oil money' that they would do anything to attain those positions...forgetting that nothing really lasts forever.

Two words ahead of Emily's questions: Be. Prepared.

Hugs,Abiolahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16957454452077890304noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3513992600551480378.post-4486898342030724242015-01-19T08:50:06.963-06:002015-01-19T08:50:06.963-06:00I am guilty of avoiding politics in my area. We haven't talked about politics with the kids quite yet, but I have a feeling by our next presidential election, Emily will be ready to talk! :)Sarah Haney, M.A.https://www.blogger.com/profile/11216162560327605679noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3513992600551480378.post-54620967292161359802015-01-18T14:25:33.639-06:002015-01-18T14:25:33.639-06:00I also observed same when I visited your blog. Blogger is at it again.

I agree with you that politics and religion should be handled with caution as they are 'highly flammable'.

Thanks, sis.Abiolahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16957454452077890304noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3513992600551480378.post-27476942317094688222015-01-18T14:23:51.599-06:002015-01-18T14:23:51.599-06:00By the time we add your vote, we should have up to...By the time we add your vote, we should have up to 10! I am angry! I will try and readd your URL and g+ to see if that will solve this problem.

You gave good tips, and I don't have anything to add because I avoid it myself, and I have told my kids that religion and politics are 2 volatile elements to be treaded with caution and avoided in discussion as much as possible.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3513992600551480378.post-46741473580353650262015-01-12T07:05:07.771-06:002015-01-12T07:05:07.771-06:00I had a good laugh o, what a way to start my week....I had a good laugh o, what a way to start my week. Well, tell Dapo that his daddy already has my vote incase he decides to run. That means that we will have a "gofnor's" son (sons actually) in our school. That will be cool ke!
But seriously, I think ages 8 -9 is a good age to start, at least by then they would have started learning "Civics" in school so it won't sound like "Greek", except of course they ask direct questions and I agree with all your "tips". Do have a super blessed week too.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06736560870236054018noreply@blogger.com
